Join the Movement: Silicon Valley PRIDE Hosts Free Health Fair for LGBTQ+ Wellness
Resource Fair, Free HIV Testing, and Wellness Activities Set for March 1
February 24, 2025 | San Jose, CA – Join Silicon Valley PRIDE on Saturday, March 1, 2025, for a free Pride Health Fair from 11 AM to 3 PM at Queer Silicon Valley (240 S. Market Street #10, San Jose, CA). This event will connect LGBTQ+ individuals and allies with vital health services, free HIV and STI testing, wellness resources, and expert-led activities—all in a welcoming, affirming space.
“Healthcare is a fundamental right, yet too many LGBTQ+ individuals—especially transgender and nonbinary people—still face barriers to affirming care,” said Jason Sholl, Chief Marketing Officer of Silicon Valley PRIDE. “The Pride Health Fair is here to change that—offering free testing, wellness services, and a welcoming space where everyone is seen, valued, and supported.”
A Community-Centered Approach to Wellness
The Pride Health Fair is a vital part of LGBTQ+ Health Awareness Month. It brings together healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and community members who share a mission to improve health outcomes for marginalized communities. Attendees will have access to free HIV testing, home STI testing kits, health screenings, mental wellness resources, and information from leading organizations dedicated to LGBTQ+ health equity.

11:30 AM – Nutrition Session with Yudy Deng (30 mins)
12:30 PM – Yoga Session with Brad Xu (30 mins)
1:30 PM – Dance Session with Julia Steward (30 mins)

Health and Wellness Resources
Attendees can engage with leading health and wellness organizations providing services tailored to the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s vendors include Visit Health, QCorner, Office of LGBTQ Affairs, TransVision, Santa Clara Family Health Plan, LGBTQ Wellness, Pride Study, El Camino Health, Kaiser Permanente, Wild Three Co., AIDS Health Foundation, and Carbon Health.
TransVision will also provide free HIV testing, and free home STI testing kits will be available for those who prefer private screenings.
