Volunteer With PRIDE

Volunteering with Silicon Valley PRIDE is an incredible way to connect, give back, and be part of something truly special. Whether helping at the festival and parade or supporting year-round initiatives, your time and energy make these events possible!

Location: Plaza de César Chávez, Downtown San Jose
Festival Dates: August 30-31, 2025
Minimum Time Commitment: 4-hour shifts

Volunteer Opportunities

We have a variety of roles available to match your interests and skills:

  • Committee-Based Roles

    • Finance Committee – Help manage budgets, financial tracking, and event revenue logistics.

    • Entertainment Committee – Curate performers, coordinate stage productions, and create an unforgettable experience.

    • Media Team – Capture key PRIDE moments through photography and videography.

    • Social Media Team – Create engaging content for PRIDE’s social platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.

    • Signage Team – Set up, maintain, and remove event signage to guide attendees efficiently.

    • Street Team – Distribute flyers and posters across the Bay Area to promote PRIDE.

  • Event Volunteers

    • Festival Setup & Teardown Crew – Assist with event infrastructure, vendor booths, and signage placement.

    • Entertainment Support – Help coordinate performer check-ins, stage logistics, and artist needs.

    • Vendor & Sponsor Assistance – Support vendor coordination, ensuring smooth interactions with attendees.

    • Photo Booth Hosts – Engage attendees at interactive photo stations, capturing memories.

Waiver Requirement

A waiver form is required for all volunteers. By filling out the sign-up form, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the waiver.

• If you are under 18, a Minor/Guardian Volunteer Waiver must be signed by both you and your parent/legal guardian.

• If you are 18 or older, you must complete the Non-Minor Volunteer Waiver before participating.

If you are unable to print these documents before your scheduled volunteer time, Silicon Valley PRIDE will provide copies for you to sign in person.
