Celebrate 50 Years of Pride at the Silicon Valley PRIDE Parade!
The Silicon Valley PRIDE Parade is a powerful demonstration of love, resilience, and community. Each year, thousands march through the streets of Downtown San Jose to showcase LGBTQ+ visibility, advocate for equality, and honor the progress made in the last 50 years.
Whether you're a community organization, local business, LGBTQ+ ally, or an individual looking to march with pride, this is your chance to be part of history. Let’s march forward—together.
Parade Details
Location: Downtown San Jose – Julian Street & Market Street, to Plaza de César Chávez Park
Date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
Step-Off Time: 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Who Can Participate? Open to all individuals, groups, and organizations who wish to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community.
How to Participate
March in the Parade
Be part of the energy! Sign up as an individual marcher, community group, or corporate ally to showcase your support.
Enter a Parade Float
Make a statement with a decorated float, vehicle, or performance group. Show off your organization’s pride with creativity and flair! A moving vehicle is considered a float.
🚨 Note: If you bring a float or moving vehicle, a wheel monitor per wheel is required for safety.
Volunteer
Help us run a safe and successful parade by signing up as a volunteer. From parade logistics to crowd engagement, there are many ways to get involved.
Parade Route
The 2025 parade route will take marchers through the heart of Downtown San Jose, starting from Julian St & Market St and ending at Plaza de César Chávez Park, passing iconic city landmarks with thousands of spectators cheering along the way.

Additional Guidelines
✔ Arrive Early: All parade participants must arrive at least two hours before step-off (by 8:30 AM) for check-in and staging. Float and vehicle entries should allocate extra time.
✔ Hand Out, Don’t Throw: Swag and giveaways may be handed to the crowd but cannot be thrown for safety reasons.
✔ Staging Area: Parade participants will gather at Julian St & Market St before the parade.

Do I need a ticket to watch the parade?
No! The PRIDE Parade is free for all to attend and enjoy.
Can I bring my family?
Absolutely! The Silicon Valley PRIDE Parade is family-friendly, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Where should I park?
We encourage attendees to use public transportation, rideshare services, or bike parking. A detailed parking guide will be available closer to the event.
