Saldy Suriben joined Silicon Valley Pride in 2014 to give back to the LGBTQ+ community. He wants to use his expertise in marketing, fundraising, and event planning to contribute to the thriving LGBTQ+ community. Currently, he is the Chief Strategic Partnership Officer, responsible for sponsorship, grants, and partnerships for the organization. Previously he was the Chief Marketing Officer creating marketing campaigns for the organization including the annual Pride Parade and Festival and year-round events and programs. 

During his time with the non-profit organization, he brought a quarter million for the organization, brought new organization partners, and organized year-round events including Drag Queen Storytime, Drag Brunches, LGBTQ+ education panels, Pride Picnic, Pride Concert Series, LGBTQ+ Theme events, and many more. He was responsible for curating and organizing the Virtual Silicon Valley Pride Parade and Festival during the pandemic in 2020.  

He was born in the Philippines but raised in San Jose, CA. Saldy earned a Business Marketing Degree from San Jose State University. He is a proud SPARTAN! 

Outside of SVPRIDE, he works as a Senior Management Analyst for the County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs where he contributes to policy, data, research, and creating new programs to help the LGBTQ+ community in Santa Clara County. Also, volunteer his time with other non-profit organizations.
